Catey and Trey are Southerners through and through. They are boot wearin’, mud slingin’, truck drivin’ people, and they were bound and determined to carry the theme throughout the details of their wedding day in the very best way!
From beautiful bright yellow sunflowers to accents of cotton to the mismatched cowboy boots donned by both the guys and the gals; the new Mr. & Mrs. McCammon certainly made their vision come to life! Right down to the delicious BBQ meal and the historically accurate venue!
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Hernando, you will find ‘One Memphis Street.’ In the 1930’s, this cottonseed warehouse operated in full glory and now, nearly 100 years later it is an open space to host any type of event one can dream up!
The morning started with the guys having lunch at a local Mexican restaurant to toast Trey tying the knot. The girls got ready at Catey’s mom’s lovely home where she even had one of Catey’s outfits from when she was a baby as one of her “something old,” items. Catey also received a gorgeous Tiffany bracelet to wear as her “something new.”
After everyone was ready, we congregated at the historic town square of Hernando for a little bit of portrait time before the ceremony. We even managed to find an adorable nursery with a pumpkin display that they gracious allowed us to use as a fall themed backdrop! We followed the radar closely as an impeding storm threatened to put an end to our outdoor portrait time. Thankfully we worked swiftly and were able to get inside just minutes before the skies opened up and the rain came pouring down. We had JUST missed it!
Trey and Catey tied the knot in a short, yet sweet, ceremony and afterward we used the indoor space to capture their family portraits as the rain started pouring down. The staff at One Memphis Street transformed the ceremony space into dance floor, and guests enjoyed a cocktail before we kicked the reception into full gear!
After the reception, the newlyweds had to head home to prepare for their departure. The two left the next day for their honeymoon in Colorado and are safely home now, ready to settle in to married life!
Thank you both for the tremendous opportunity to celebrate this day with you! Cheers to many years of good health and happiness together.
Xx, Ashley Nicole
